Abstract: It is proposed to systematize the implementation of the Desing thinking methodology in the learning processes of the students who study the subjects of the Tourism Chair of the Sustainable Tourism Management career.
"The Desing thinking methodology consists of developing a process to identify opportunities that allow the resolution of a particular need of a specific group or client, through interdisciplinary work and incorporating innovative and creative elements." Executive Education INCAE (2016, p. 4).
It is a paradigm shift, since its logical process used in traditional mechanisms for possible solutions.
These subjects have a practical, important component, therefore, they allow the development of the methodology. For the student, the application of this methodology is an added value to professional training in tourism and, in turn, is an element of competitiveness for labor insertion. The latter is a topic of attention that has emanated from the self-evaluation processes of the race.
The proper implementation of the methodology will allow the student to be inserted into a learning environment that will stimulate creativity, research, social awareness, interdisciplinary and collaborative work.
For the teaching team it is an opportunity to explore alternative ways of evaluating learning, and insert themselves in interdisciplinary work teams that can strengthen their visions for the creation of new links or for the development of new projects in the future. |
