Abstract: Promoting innovation and entrepreneurship is not only a goal embodied in the UNED's institutional policy guidelines, it is a basic aspiration for fulfilment life in the new economy environment and a strategy to take advantage of the opportunities of the new economy, especially for UNED students, young people seeking vocational guidance, women and girls.
The leadership of the UNED is built with rigorous academic exercises that test the boundaries of traditionally used strategies. In this case, it is experimented with new populations, strategies, contents and technologies.
The theoretical relevance of the project is based on the dynamics of action research that will allow to define possible contributions or theoretical constructions from the bases or from practice. The methodological relevance is strengthened with the
processes of design thinking.
The three experiments are:
• Experiment with next generation learning environments (NGDLE) geared to deep learning, promoting the culture of innovation and access. (New Media Consortium, 2017)
• Experiment with games in virtual reality to promote entrepreneurship and innovation with young people.
• Experiment with virtual reality games to promote girls' interest in science, technology, intrepreneurship, engineering, art and mathematics.
In summary, the experiments are a bridge between research, teaching, extension and production in the framework of entrepreneurship and innovation with the intention of contributing to opportunities for populations that tend to be excluded from the benefits of economic growth. |
