| Abstract: This research adopts a mixed-methods, sequential and explanatory approach to examine how artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping professions related to Business Administration, and the resulting implications for training, ethics, and employability of graduates from the ECA-UNED.
The quantitative phase includes surveys of graduates (2019–2024) and employers, aimed at identifying trends in AI usage, perceived training gaps, and valued competencies. The qualitative phase involves semi-structured interviews and focus groups with key stakeholders to explore ethical, pedagogical, and curricular challenges. Additionally, a thorough review of the current curriculum and graduate profiles is undertaken. Data analysis will use tools such as SPSS and NVivo, ensuring triangulation and robust findings. The study aims to generate evidence-based recommendations for updating the graduate profile and curriculum, aligning with the evolving demands of the labour market. The research adheres to UNED’s ethical standards, ensuring informed consent and confidentiality, and ultimately seeks to foster a more relevant and digitally aligned professional education. |
