Magister en Estudios Latinoamericanos con énfasis en cultura y desarrollo de la Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica. Doctorando del programa Análisis de Problemas Sociales de la Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia de España. El investigador posee conocimientos de inglés avanzado y dominio básico del idioma alemán.
