Abstract: The problems experienced in the face of the health emergency caused by Covid 19 have been multiple
and varied, affecting all sectors of the population, and this has not neglected the educational sector, which
saw the need to immediately and fully delve into new strategies to develop your learning processes; These
decisions have produced a series of effects at the institutional level and those who have experienced these
changes mainly have been the people involved in the academic field, mainly teachers and students.
In the case of the Distance University, with extensive experience in virtual education, but with a
significant percentage still focused on blended learning, it also required facing new changes in dizzying
times in order to stand up to the academic period that was just beginning taking into account all the
characteristics of its population, the tools it has and other elements related to management, among others.
Since it is important for UNED that its academic offer is always in search of quality, it is
necessary to assess, due to the sudden changes offered, what have been the main effects mainly on
academic performance from the perspective of the student body and the faculty of the institution |
